...being a witness to God's love by partnering with the community to provide affordable housing to those in need.

About Us

Escambia County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that seeks to unite volunteers with those in need of affordable housing. Habitat depends on donations, various fundraising efforts, a joint venture with the future homeowner, and volunteer labor. Habitat works with low income families who are unable to qualify for a conventinal mortgage but who are willing to invest "sweat equity" and repay a 20 year no interest loan. the result is a decent, simple home for a family in need and a  greater sense of community for all those involved. Escambia County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1996. We have built and dedicated 17 houses in Escambia County, Alabama.
